Lindsay Reishman

Founding Partner at Pareto

Lindsay Reishman entered the real estate industry in 2004 and quickly became a top producing agent. In 2010 he decided to form his own brokerage with the goal of creating a unique business model that better services clients. The model proved successful and in 2014 the brokerage was acquired by Compass. In 2016, Lindsay launched the Reishman Group, which has grown to become one of the top teams in DC.  Lindsay grew up in Sewanee, TN and moved to DC after graduating from Middlebury College. After many years in Dupont Circle, he now lives in Spring Valley with his wife, four kids, and lab. 

 

Shane Hedges

Shane Hedges moved to DC when he was sixteen to serve as a page in the US Senate. He fell in love with the city and developed his skills as a respected corporate executive and public affairs strategist. Before real estate, Shane ran Washington’s preeminent experiential education company with operations on five continents. Shane received his MBA from Maryland and lives to help people achieve their goals and fulfill their ambitions. Shane Hedges is proud of his service on the Board of Directors of the Wendt Center for Loss and Healing and the DC chapter of the American Marketing Association. Shane began his real estate career in 2012 at Lindsay Reishman Real Estate, which became Compass in 2014. The foundation of Shane’s business has been a personalized, collaborative approach, serving each and every client’s specific needs. Over the years he has built a loyal client base, which has developed into a solid referral-based business.

While the process of home buying and selling can seem daunting, Shane takes the time to educate his clients about the process and provides the tools clients need to feel confident in their decisions. In our competitive market, Shane’s in-depth market expertise and negotiating skills combined with creative solutions have proven valuable to his clients’ ability to secure properties encountering multiple offers. Shane’s attention to detail and friendly nature are what earn him rave reviews from clients and colleagues alike.

Prior to his career in real estate, Shane worked as a merchandising manager for a large home goods retailer for 20 years. He draws on his experience there to provide the highest levels of service to his clients. This experience also gives Shane a unique eye for helping clients with furnishing newly purchased homes and staging existing homes for sale.

Licensed in DC, Maryland and Virginia, Shane takes joy in sharing his love of the area – the rich history of the beautiful architecture, monuments, parks, and cultural sites with all of his clients. He currently lives in a 1926 Wardman style rowhouse in Brightwood Park with his husband, Jeff, and their dog, Lola. He is an avid traveler, admirer of mid-century design, and a lover of vintage cars, aircraft, and ocean liners.

Alexandra Thomas

Alexandra has been one of the top producing agents in DC for the past six years. She has over a decade of experience as a sales and marketing specialist, continually setting new standards of excellence while honing her skills in marketing, negotiating, and innovating. She has gained knowledge of the marketplace in DC, especially in specific neighborhoods such as Wesley Heights, Cleveland Park, Dupont, and Georgetown. With her keen understanding of the factors affecting both buyers and sellers, Alexandra has been able to apply her sales and marketing background to help her quickly sell her clients’ homes for top dollar.

Samantha Wears

Samantha began her career in Real Estate in 2013 after working for several years as a hairdresser. Before joining The Reishman Group, she got her start at Keller Williams in Falls Church and then joined the Kathleen Eder Group in 2016. As a specialist in the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia market, she is diligent in carefully monitoring the specific trends of the region and is dedicated to providing crucial, in-depth local market knowledge.

Samantha excels at providing insightful, comprehensive expertise and marketing applications that produce results. Her immediate accessibility, answers to timely questions and trusted guidance makes her invaluable to her clients. Going above and beyond is all part of the special care and attention that makes each transaction come together and produce positive results.

Samantha currently lives in Fairfax, VA. She loves being in the suburbs but also loves living close enough to the city to be able to tap into its culture and all it has to offer.

Katherine E. Wellborn

Katherine, or Kat as her friends call her, moved to D.C. from the South more than 10 years ago and immediately fell in love with the city’s architecture and rapidly changing neighborhoods. After practicing law for several years, Kat decided to combine her long-standing passion for real estate with her desire for client-centered work and a chance to step out from behind the computer. Kat understands how daunting the buying and selling process can be and she aims to provide her clients with the best guidance to facilitate a smooth, stress-free transaction. Her goal is to help clients feel confident and at ease when making decisions in the complex process of buying and selling.

Kat is originally from Nashville, TN. She has lived in several neighborhoods of D.C. and currently resides in Shaw, where she enjoys a bustling life in the heart of the city. Kat enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and running, but she spends most of her spare time with her gigantic Berger Blanc Suisse puppy, Dolly Rose.

Kat was among the earliest agents of Compass DC, which was the first Compass expansion market. She is an original member of The Reishman Group and is recognized by Washingtonian as one of the DMV’s Top 100 agents.

Carson Brown

Originally from Tuscaloosa Alabama, Carson graduated from the University of Alabama’s Business School where he majored in entrepreneurship and small business consulting. The first few years after school, Carson spent his time working as a property manager for a residential and commercial real estate broker. Since he arrived in Washington, DC, Carson has been an integral part of our group. By putting his boots on the ground, he makes sure everything that needs to take place, does.
