Our Team:

The Reishman Group is passionate about providing an exceptional and unique client experience. We are advocates, negotiators, and experts in the DC real estate market, backed by a team of professionals who ensure that no detail is overlooked.

Lindsay Reishman

Senior Vice President at Compass

Lindsay Reishman entered the real estate industry in 2004 and quickly became a top producing agent. In 2010 he decided to form his own brokerage with the goal of creating a unique business model that better services clients. The model proved successful and in 2014 the brokerage was acquired by Compass, a New York based company which shared a focus on innovation. Lindsay subsequently helped grow Compass to the third largest brokerage in Washington, DC, but found that his management role pulled him further away from client centered work. In 2016, Lindsay launched the Reishman Group in order to return his focus to his clients.

Lindsay grew up in Sewanee, TN and moved to DC after graduating from Middlebury College.  After many years in Dupont Circle, he now lives in Spring Valley with his wife, four kids, and lab.  In his free time he enjoys skiing, playing squash, and getting outside.

Sean Aalai

Vice President at Compass & Agent

Sean started his career in real estate in 2010, after a decade working as an account executive for two major DC-based publishers of building industry magazines.  His past experience allowed him to gain expertise in the residential construction industry, and he soon became a top producing agent, first at Lindsay Reishman Real Estate, and then at Compass where his volume earned him the title of Vice President.

Sean listens carefully to address the specific needs of each client and has earned rave reviews from first-time homebuyers as well as seasoned developers and investors.  His clients appreciate his strong work ethic and attention to detail and rely on his market expertise to simplify the process of buying and selling.  Sean’s goal is to maintain client relationships and to be a valuable resource for life, not just the duration of the transaction.

Sean grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland, and attended the University of Maryland in College Park.  He resides with his wife in Tenleytown, in one of the neighborhood’s five modernist houses designed in the 1940s by renowned DC architect Joseph Abel. Sean loves the residential feel of Tenleytown as well as the quaintness of its tree-lined streets.
