Design Trends We Love: Beautiful Windows

Buyers often have an abundance of “must haves” on their home wish lists, and big, beautiful windows consistently top the list. The good news is developers realize this and go above and beyond to incorporate stunning windows into their designs. Below are some of our favorite properties with remarkable windows and wonderful natural light.

1906 Biltmore Street NW, Unit 2

We are blown away by the developer’s use of skylights and accordion windows to open up the top floor of this stunning condo. When the windows open, the living and dining rooms flow perfectly into the roof deck, elongating the space and bringing in plenty of natural light.

The Sanctuary Penthouse

The stained glass in this church-turned-condo is stunning and perfectly illuminates the Rubin Group’s magnificent space. If that weren’t enough, the unit also has access to the church’s historic bell tower, which was converted into a den and has sweeping 360-degree views of DC. You can read our full spotlight of the property HERE.

The Skyline at 1012 Harvard

When our team toured this property while it was under construction, we knew it would be something special. And S2 Development has certainly delivered. We particularly love the numerous walls of windows that allow natural light to fill the living spaces and bedrooms.

1501 4TH ST NW

If windows are what you want, windows are what you’ll get. This outstanding development, designed and built by Ditto Residential, perfectly incorporates vast windows throughout (even in the walk-in closets). Along with a sleek interior, the design of these condos take full advantage of its southern exposure, allowing for natural light to stream into every part of the home all throughout the day. As with all of Ditto’s projects, the basements feature large windows, high ceilings and sweeping natural light.
