Our goal for the blog & our social media is to provide meaningful information for those interested in DC real estate .
The Reishman Group is comprised of veteran Lindsay Reishman, real estate team members Katherine Wellborn and Taylor Carney and go-to staff member, Amber Bush-Joseph. We are supported by DC’s third largest brokerage, technology-based real estate company Compass.
We hope our real estate and development experience will quickly make The Reishman Group a market leader and a source of trustworthy information for buyers, sellers and developers. Our team is made up of nimble, smart and curious people. We make it our business to know every aspect of real estate from customized marketing to negotiation to future development.
One of our unique offerings is our off-market property inventory and search capabilities. We attend neighborhood meetings, research building permits, build relationships with developers, send letters to homeowners, and network with other agents. Lindsay Reishman started in real estate in 2004, after having worked previously in the education and consulting fields. In 2010, Lindsay founded the Washington, D.C. firm Lindsay Reishman Real Estate (LRRE) with the goal of providing an exceptional experience for his clients and a nurturing environment for his team. Establishing his own residential brokerage was the perfect blend of his background and aspirations; it allowed him to engage his entrepreneurial spirit and be a positive force during one of life’s most important moments—buying or selling a home. In 2014, Lindsay decided to partner with Compass because he saw the opportunity it provided to his agents and his staff to service their clients even more seamlessly and intelligently. After serving as President of the DC region of Compass for nearly 2 years and helping it grow to be the third largest brokerage in the city, Lindsay transitioned to a senior advisory role in 2016, allowing him to form The Reishman Group and return to working actively with buyers and sellers. Lindsay is enjoying spending more time with his clients and providing consistently exceptional real estate service.
Lindsay grew up in Sewanee, Tennessee and attended Middlebury College. He now lives in Spring Valley with his wife, Katharine, and four children.
